A. Health needs identification and analysis
Research and data collection choices
You have learnt that the success of any health and wellbeing program depends on its alignment to previously identified health needs among the workforce. Out of the following four methods of data collection, choose one from each group below and explain your choices according to the case study and your own understanding.
Research and data collection questions and methods
Data collation Table of interpretation and implications for the program
Using the data collation provided in the case study, complete the table for your scoping out of the program. Put as much detail as you think necessary for senior stakeholders to understand your thinking at this stage. You do not have to write in full sentences – note form is best.
B. Planning A Health And Wellness Program
Program snapshot, goals and objectives
Fill in the report for the relevant stakeholders:
Roles and responsibilities
Fill in the table provided in the template with the names of staff from PeoplePlus , their ‘Roles’ in the middle column and their respective ‘Responsibilities’ with further detail if needed. Use the detail in the case study, your own working experiences and your imagination to demonstrate your ability to manage a team and establish responsibilities.
Collaboration strategies for program development
Complete the table to show your collaboration strategies for this health and wellbeing program development. Fill as much in as you believe is necessary to effectively work in conjunction with program development team members. You do not have to fill in every field. It will depend on the nature of the specific tasks you intend to roll out in your health and wellbeing program. You can also use symbols to complete parts of the table.
C. Promotion Of The Program
Communication to employees
Prepare an email to send to all staff about the new program. This will be the first time that the PeoplePlus workforce hears about it. Include:
Think carefully about the high-level points about the program to share with the senior staff at this stage. The purpose of the presentation is to provide a progress report to the decision makers before the implementation.
D. Evaluation And Improvement Of The Program
Use the given table as a starting plan. Table where these mechanisms should be deployed and who would be consulted. Write lists or short notes to explain the connection to the activities or whole program development. Two examples are provided.
Intention to improve the program
At your first program component, the senior managers are so impressed and can already foresee the benefits to the organisation – so they conditionally advise you of an increased budget by double for the next year. With this financial endorsement, how would you improve the existing program?
