Highlights
Internal Code: 1ABDCC
Task: 1 Part: 1 Working together Discuss ways to make sure all team members have the opportunity to contribute to the planning, decision making and the operation of the team. How do you ensure that all members are clear on their roles and responsibilities? Part 2 - Team Feedback
Part: 3 Report on processes that could be set up for team members to raise issues, concerns and problems. How could you prioritise the issues? Consider an open door policy, modelling accepting behaviour, openly discussing team issues in a non-judgemental, outcome focused environment. Task: 2 Part: 4 Identify and outline the team building activity. State the reason why you chose this activity and the team member's responsibilities. The activity could be a tree top rope trail, it could be bowling, or it could be a cooking class together. There needs to be a purpose and reason for choosing the activity. For example you may have chosen jet skiing because it was a great way for the team to have fun, get wet and see each other laugh and be afraid together. Or the reason that you chose a cooking class because it encourages mixing of people and it is winter, too cold to go rope climbing or some of the team members have physical issues. Tasks then need to be allocated to different team members, such as organising the transport, team communications, booking the site and making catering arrangements Part: 5 Describe the expected outcomes of this activity. The expected outcomes could be that a trip together in a bus would get people conversing who don’t normally talk to each other. It may be to create trust in each other or to have an understanding of each other’s weaknesses and strengths. Team building can have surprising outcomes. Task: 3 Your task this week is to continue developing the performance plan for your team at the L&M Bank. This week's assessment is broken into three parts: Part 9 –Liaise with stakeholders Prepare a communication map or trail using the L&M Bank Branch opening scenario. This will be used during the move so that if there is a problem or an issue, you have a map to ensure that all those involved are informed in an orderly and timely manner.
