You will then develop options for delivery of human resources (HR) services (later to be formalised in a service level agreement) and present these in a short report. You will then develop an action plan for the delivery of HR services that includes roles and responsibilities for implementing proposed service level agreements

TASK:

1. Read the Learning Module Section 1 and the learning activities to assist you in completing this task.
2. Review JKL Industries simulated business documentation provided.
3. Review the Scenario - JKL Industries in Appendix 1 and JKL Industry’s industrial relations history in Appendix 2 to identify human resources service requirements for JKL industries.
4. Review the external business environment by analyses the political, economic, social, and technological circumstances and identify the possible impact on human resources requirements (Appendix 3-Part A).
Note: You may gather such information through reviewing the scenario and business information provided; you may also undertake additional research to supplement your report.
5. Identify two managers whom you will consult within determine human resources requirements and explain why you chose to consult with them (Appendix 3-Part B).

a. a discussion of human resources needs to be gathered from:
 

i. analysis of JKL Industries (the simulated business documents) human resources requirements;
ii. consultation with internal stakeholders – two managers you have identified earlier (arrange the consultation from your current workplace or friends in a simulated business environment to play the manager role for you);
iii. a review of the external business environment (the PEST analysis you have completed earlier).
