Question 15: Explain how you can provide access to training and ongoing support for all persons engaged in staff induction.
Question 16: Discuss how you can check induction processes that are followed across the organization.
Question 17: How can you oversee the management of probationary employees and provide them with feedback until their employment is confirmed or terminated?
Question 18: Discuss how you can obtain feedback from participants and relevant managers on the extent the induction process is meeting its objectives.
Question 19: Explain how you can make refinements to induction policies and procedures.
Assessment Task Part B: Project and Role-play
Task One
You must review the BizOps Organisational Operational Plan and Business Plan and:
a) List the policies and procedures required to ensure robust and legislatively compliant recruitment, selection and induction policy.
b) Explain the objective of each policy and procedure you have listed by writing a detailed report.
Task Two
After identifying the list of policies in the previous task, you must review the existing BizOps Recruitment and Selection Policy and Procedures and develop as a new policy for recruitment, selection and induction policies and procedures and complete the following:
a) Update it to reflect relevant and current legislation and best practice.
b) Develop and add an Induction Policy and Procedure for all new employees. Ensure you reference relevant legislation in your policy. The new BizOps Recruitment, Selection and Induction Policy and Procedures must include:
Task Three
Referring to your new Recruitment, Selection and Induction Policy and Procedures developed by you, create supporting documents and tools for effective implementation of the policy. You will prepare the following forms:
a) New position request form
b) Candidate Application form
Task four
Current feedback in BizOps operations highlights the following issues faced during the recruitment selection and induction process:

Task Five
You must complete the roleplay for this task where you will play the role of the HR manager and discuss the policy and procedures that you have developed in Task 2 with your trainer/assessor (acting as senior manager) and discuss processes adopted by your recruitment, selection and induction policy and procedures including:
• Specialty feedback process for applicants
• Current advertising media vehicles and future use of technology
• Induction process
• Shortlisting process.
You will also present and discuss the following form created in Task 3:
• New position request form You must note down any feedback given by the Senior Manager and improve the policy and procedures as a result of any feedback provided by the senior manager.
