Breeze Appliances is a retail company which has three branches across Australia: Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The branch manager from each branch has asked you to create a spreadsheet every quarter. The spreadsheet will record the sales made by each salesperson for each of the preceding three months. It will also calculate the commission earned by salesperson each month. A potential bonus can also be earned if a target is met.
You will be creating a template which can be distributed to each branch manager and used to perform calculations for each branch.
These quarterly spreadsheets are sent to Breeze Appliances head office where the data will be collated into a new spreadsheet.

Task 1
A spreadsheet template needs to be created to store the quarterly sales data (see task 2) and calculate the sales commission based on those sales.
Requirements
Use the file called Spreadsheet plan 402 to plan and sketch this template.
? Import the text file called Commission rates.txt into a new spreadsheet. Name the spreadsheet Commission rates
? Create a named range for the commission rates data.
? The commission rates data is used to look up the % commission each salesperson will receive.
This percentage will then be used to calculate the commission for each month, based on monthly sales.
? Insert a new sheet before the Commission rates sheet. Name the new sheet Sales.
? On the Sales sheet, calculate the commission each salesperson will receive each month.
