Anton DeLongpre and Mika DeLongpre, Australian-Aboriginal entrepreneurs, are planning to start their own recruitment agency aimed to assist Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders find jobs. They have approached Bigger than Big for a business consultation regarding this matter. Considering the nature of their business needs and your experience in the industry, Liam Diggle, your supervisor, has approached you to meet with them and assist them throughout the consultation. You meet with Anton along with Milton Rickshaw and Edward Burk, consultants for Bigger than Big. Milton and Edward are experts in the industry and they will be helping you and the DeLongpres throughout the consultation. During this meeting, you come up with Action Items that need to be completed to help them. Part 2 – Manage underperformance and resolve conflict

You have received an email from Liam Murdoch, the new supervisor of the Sales Department at Bigger than Big. He has expressed his concern about Maddy
Brookes, one of the sales agents. Maddy Brookes isn’t really performing well and has not been meeting her Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). On top of this, Liam has also added that he cannot avoid getting frustrated with Maddy. In his email, he stated the following:

3. Liam has raised this matter twice with Maddy already. Once, during an informal discussion with her, and the second time, during Maddy’s performance review.

5. In fact, Maddy’s performance continues to dwindle. Maddy would not show up for work sometimes without giving valid reasons.
