Jim Palmer is a 78-year-old man who broke his neck of femur, and needs to attend his orthopaedic specialist appointment with Dr Shane Grady. You have been asked to write his appointment letter to Jim, and get this verified from your supervisor. This letter must include the following requirements: 

• Written in Arial 12. 

• Use of appropriate medical terms 

• Spell and pronounce medical terminology correctly 

• Date of the letter produced 

• Information on the clinic (make up an example): 

o Name of the department/centre o Address o Phone, fax and email 

• Address this to Jim Palmer in his full name. Include his date of birth and medical record number (use your own example). 

• Outline the type of appointment he needs to attend. 

• Instructions if he needs to cancel or change his appointment.
