For this assessment, you will write a case study about how to facilitate continuous improvement in the workplace. The workplace may be one that you are currently employed in or maybe one that you have researched as part of your study in other units of competence. 

If you are not employed or have not researched a workplace, then you are required to research a workplace such as Toyota, Ford Motor Company, Coca Cola Ltd or another of your choice to complete this task.

In your case study you are to assume that you are the team leader in your chosen workplace, and you have been charged with creating a continuous improvement program for the company.  

You are to identify and discuss how you would go about:

• undertaking open communication 

• facilitating effective contributions including sustainability

• communications about continuous improvement processes

• a plan for continuous improvement

• insights experiences and ideas for improvement

2. A discussion of the sustainability requirements

5. A plan for a continuous improvement utilising the information you have researched

• What strategies can be developed to ensure that systems and processes are used to monitor operational progress and to identify ways in which planning, and operations could be improved?
