Students you will not be able to fit all the information on the template provided. So please copy the template onto a word file and write all the relevant information inside the boxes and then print this and attach it to your assessment.
Make a small booklet with the heading (project work AT3 Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices BSBSUS401 and after the first page on which you put the heading, your student number and name add a header and a footer with your GT number and name on all pages)

Task 3
1.Students, do exactly as this task is asking, I think the instructions are pretty clear. As far as the bills are concerned where you are to measure and monitor the use of gas, water and electricity at RGIT/your work place for a month. I want you to download a sample commercial bill from the internet, imagine that both the bills are different from each other example one month higher and one lower and then document your finding on the tools you are using in the previous task.
About observing the kitchen on 4 different occasions, remember when you were doing your certificate 3. Complete this section of the assessment using your memory of your time spent in the kitchen ?
2.To complete the second part of task three do what the assessment booklet says. Discuss with your colleagues. Because all of you will remember differently your time spent in the RGIT kitchen. Discuss ways to reduce resource usage in the RGIT kitchen. Choose and agree on three alternative solutions. The notes on your discussion need to be filed in your project work papers with the header and a footer with your name and GT code.
3.Follow didasko instructions for the third part as well students. In addition, for all the solutions please use the formula you learned today to calculate the payback time on your investment. Use the information in your learner guide on pg 58-60 to calculate the payback period on your initial investment by using that formula.
Task 4
For this task first step is to make a plan about how you are going to improve resource usage. Refer to information in Section 3 of learner guide.
1.Because you need to set the targets for the next three months they are already measurable. However, in writing an answer please make sure they are in the SMART format. You need to write these answers as part of your project booklet which you have created for task 3. Please make sure all the pages are numbered with heading like Task 3, Task 4
You will not be able to fit some of the information on the template provided for the sustainability action plan. Please create a template on Microsoft word fill it in with your answers and then attach it to your assessment project booklet.
Answer all the questions till 8.
8. You need to present the changes in front of the class where the students will act as your team members. You need to explain to them your targets and action plan which you have made and explain to them what was not working/where problems were identified in the RGIT kitchen and what changes need to be made to reach sustainability targets. Obviously you have already explained above what your targets are.
Task 5
To complete this section of task 5 look at comments below in purple:
For this task, you are to measure resource use in the RGIT/your workplace one month after you have implemented your sustainability plan against the targets you set. The areas you will measure are:
• • Water use
• • Energy (gas and electricity) use
• • Food waste
To do this, you will need to take meter readings, review supplier bills (if provided by your assessor) and observe resource use of students using the kitchen on at least four separate occasions.

•Given the results, set three new targets for sustainability improvements over the next six months in SMART format
•List four ways you can encourage your team and co-workers to adopt changes made and support sustainability initiatives.
