What am I required to do in this assignment?

Your task in this assignment is to produce a report in which:

• You will select a company in one of the industries selected below (or in the industry in which you work).
• You should identify the current strategy and Value Proposition of this company
• Identify the key future trends in the industry and how these may impact on the industry
• Based on your analysis you should make recommendations about whether or not the strategy and value proposition of the company should be changed.
• If you recommended any changes to the strategy or value proposition these should be justified and described.
• If no changes to the strategy or value proposition are recommended the reasons for this should be justified.

(Note: This may involve a change in target markets; a change in product focus; a focus on a specific or new customer segment etc. You should use appropriate tools and frameworks in order to develop the Value Proposition and you must justify (with evidence) how this is designed to create meaningful customer value)

Given the word limit you are advised to focus on the development of Business rather than Corporate Strategy.

Choose a company from one of these sectors or you own company, if you are in employment. Note that if you work in a very small organisation or will not be able to find out any meaningful information, you should look at another organisation.
