The idea of the project is to build an API or tool that builds programming exams or quizzes:

• For each question (or maybe group of questions) the input would be:

A description of the problem -

for example it might be something like 'If you start with €5030 and invest it at an interest rate of 0.05%. how much interest would you have earned after 9 years? Only in practice the questions would probably be more complex than this
A piece of code that solves the problem.

• The API or tool would then generate a complete multiple choice question with the correct and a set of wrong answers.
• There could be some other factors - for example, exactly how are the wrong answers generated (is it enough for them to be random or do they need to be close to the real one (or maybe this can be configured in the tool/API); how many wrong answers are included: and maybe other question types.
• Ideally, this would generate output in a variety of formats but that's not essential

The problem with this as I imagined it is that there is no strong security angle for this project. for the MSc in Cyber Security, the project will need to be modified to include one. This is not really my area but I guess you could do something like a secure online test system instead of creating the quiz/exam it could deliver it and allow it to be taken in some "secure" way (I'm just thinking and making this up)
