1. Develop a Website Design Report.
Review the information provided by the company in the Client Requirements document. Then develop a Website Design Report that defines and analyses the technical requirements for the website based on this information.
Your report should include:

• An outline of the business’ requirements in relation to the website. Identification of the web-standards that should be taken into account in the design of the website.
• Purpose of, and expectations for the web site, including the key audience and their needs.
• A list of all the required functions of the website, including the entry points to the web site and links.
• An outline of the proposed website design including style, architectural requirements, navigation, user interface design, logical flow of contents, user interaction, web content, graphical user interface, and database design.
• Documentation of a prototype of the user interface.
• An outline of the development environment being used, including front end and back end software required to build the site (discuss the languages to be used and outline the data storage requirements that must be designed and created to suit the website requirements using a suitable server-side language). Ensure that you reference components such as the shopping cart, web user controls and classes to build the application. Include the platform, operating system and web server that will be implemented.
• Assumptions: any relevant and appropriate assumptions for the website builder must be justified.

2. Test the Website
You are required to ensure that the modules developed will integrate with the website. This will require testing to ensure accuracy and validity. The testing should be undertaken for three areas: Functionality, Usability, and Security. Ensure that you include database testing in functionality testing.
Take screenshots as evidence of the test results.
Ensure that you:

• Show that the modules have been successfully integrated.
• Identify and rectify website functional problems and resolve any bugs in the code.
• Ensure that the dynamic content functions, according to specified requirements.
• Undertake HTML5 validation testing.
• Validate the document in at least three different browsers to check cross-browser compatibility.

Ensure that your testing has been clearly explained and annotated where relevant.
Use the Website Testing Plan Template to guide your work. Place this in the Testing folder.

3. Update your Website Design Report.
When you have completed and tested the website, go back to your report and include any changes to it that reflect how you created the website.
Save this document as Updated Website Design Report.

4. Send an email to the client (your assessor).
The text of the email should be in grammatically correct English, written in an appropriate (polite, business-like) style.
It should introduce and summarise the contents of the attachments.
The text should also include the file path and instructions for viewing your website and ask the client for their feedback.

Attach the following to the email:

• Updated Website Design Report
• Test folder including Website Testing Plan.

5. Make requested changes to the website.
Your client will respond to your submissions with some feedback.
Make the required changes to the website and resubmit screenshots, with annotation where appropriate, as evidence of the changes.
Create a folder named Changes and place this evidence in it

6. Send an email to the client (your assessor).
The text of the email should be in grammatically correct English, written in an appropriate (polite, business-like) style.
It should summarise the changes you have made to the website.
