Interior Designing Assignment:

Task: You are to design all interior aspects of 6 rooms or spaces on the 3rd floor as well as the interior and an overall floor finish plan for all spaces. The rooms shall all have different functions with at least one office. Please identify the spaces you are working on with appropriate room numbers. Materials to be chosen include Floor, Baseboard, Ceiling, Walls, Doors and Door Frames. Use room numbers to identify rooms; 300, 301 etc. for the 3rd floor appropriate numbering. a. Provide a floor finish drawing with either color coordination / greyscale or technical drawing showing floor transitions. b. Create a material list with abbreviations for these 6 rooms. Include finish materials for all items that make up these rooms. Including colour numbers, stain numbers. Specify acoustic materials and indicate their NRC rating for one floor, wall and ceiling material. Alternatively indicate the NRC of three materials. c. Create a Room Finish Schedule for these 6 rooms. d. Create a Door and Frame Schedule for all doors that are attached to these rooms you have chosen. Doors get the same number as the room Room 301 will have door D301 and possibly door D301a and D301b or D301.1 and D301.2 e. Draw the Door and Frame types that you are using. Hollow metal / Solid Wood / Glass / Metal, Aluminum or Wood with Glass inlay. See the attached sheets in digital version as a guideline. f. Specify the lighting fixtures utilized in your project, provide cut sheets for these lights and provide a light schedule.
