Auditing Assignment You will be required to undertake an audit of an organization’s governance and risk management strategy, commitments and practices. The organization (for-profit or not-for-profit, government or private) will be selected by you and must be drawn from your personal experience as an employee, manager, stakeholder, volunteer or client. You will be assessed on your ability to apply concepts and analyze practices relating to corporate governance and risk management in actual, i.e., not theoretical, organizations with which you have had some involvement. The emphasis will be on auditing the extent to which the organization abides by its stated governance and risk management commitments, and determining whether the alignment of the commitments and practices are optimal.
