When writing your essay, aim to include the following:

• A brief overview of the graduate role identified, reflecting on why you have chosen this as a viable career option.

• A critical review of your perceived suitability for your chosen graduate role, based on a separate analysis of your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) compared to the requirements detailed in the job description of your chosen role.

• A critical review of your ability to work in a group, exploring the relevance of skills demonstrated during your various University group working experiences in relation to what will be required in a workplace setting.

In doing so, identify potential skills gaps and detail an action plan which clearly outlines how you plan to address any perceived gaps prior to progressing into the workplace.

In order to fully support your reflections, you are required to attach and cite the following appendices:

• Graduate Job Advert (in English and copied onto Word - must include full person specifications/responsibilities to aid your self-critique).

• A separate SWOT analysis appendix (different to your PDP version and completed in relation to the specifics of the role).

• Your updated Personal Development Plan which focuses on your personal and professional development throughout your studies to date, and

• Tailored CV (maximum two-pages) (anonymized with student number if preferred).
