URC R to analyze the questions below.
• You may work individually or with a partner.
• Answers should be typed. Use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Graphs should be properly labelled and titled.
• This should be in a report style format. Do not assume the reader has the questions and write up a "stand-alone" document. This means that you go back to this in a year and underside and the problem and code.
• An appendix of your R code should be listed at the end of the document. The code to create the appendix is located under Announcements on Canvas.

• This is not a class assignment. Please adhere to the UC Davis Academic Code of Conduct. You may only ask your partner, the instructor, or the TA's for help. We can help troubleshoot problems, but cannot verify if work is correct.
• Answer all questions thoroughly.
• Submit work to Canvas as an Html file.
• Do not post your numerical results from R on Canvas or Piazza.
Questions:
I. On Canvas, you will find the latest "Fitbit.csv". This dataset has the following columns:
Column 1: Steps - The number of steps for that day.
Column 2: Miles - The distance walked in miles for that day.
Column 3: Floors - The number of floors climbed 3 hat day (up or down).
Column 4: Sleep - The number hour of sleep that for that night.
Column 5: Day - '1'11, day of the week.
Column 6: Month - The month of the year.
(a) Find the mean, median, and standard deviation of the column the number of steps.
(b) Repeat (a) for the column the hours of sleep.
(c) Find Q1, Q2, Q3, for the column for the distance, walked in miles.
(d) Repeat (c) for the number of steps.
(e) Find the five-number summary for hours of sleep.
(f) Find and interpret the standard deviation for the distance walked in miles.
(g) Plot one boxplot 1 each day of the week for a number of stems. This should be in one plot. Does it appear that one day is less active than other days? Explain.
(h) Plot one boxplot for each day of the week3 of sleep. This should be in one plot. Does R appear that one day allows for more sleep than other days,
(i) Plot a histogram for the overall amount of miles travelled? Does it appear this data is skewed, or symmetric? Explain.
(j) Repeat (3) for the daily amount of sleep in hours.
II. On Quitms, you will find the dataset "work.csv" (in the folder Datasets)
Column 1. obese: with levels "Overweight", "Underweight".
Column 2. gender: with levels "Female", "Male".
Column 3. marriage: with levels "Married", "Divorced", "VViclowed", "Never-Married".
(a) Create and display a bar pMt for the variable marriage. Which category has the most people?
(b) Create and display a barplot for the variables of marriage and obese. Does it appear that there is a relationship between obesity and marriage status? Explain.
(c) Create al. display a barplot for the variables of gender and obese. Does it appear that one particular gender is more obese than the other? Explain.
(d) Create and display a barplot for the variables of gender and marriage. Does it appear that one particular 33333 i3 more often widowed than the other? Explain.
III. Using the "work.csv" dataset, create a mosaic plot Mr the variables gender and obese. Note, it may be helpful to look at two graphs, one with marriage on the x-axis, one with marriage on the y-axis. While they give the same information, sometimes it is easier to see via one plot over the other. You may decide which to show.
(a) Based on the mosaic plot, us there a larger proportion A men or women in the dataset? Are there a larger proportion of overweight or underweight subjects in the dataset?
(b) Based on the main plot, are a larger proportion of females overweight or females underweight? Are there relatively more overweight men or overweight women?
