He is not concerned about his age yet understands (mostly from daughter in law) that he could look much better if his skin was cared for a little.

Clyde is not interested in doing this himself, so agreed to come to you to see what you could do.

History

The client has a history of both premalignant lesions and skin cancer. Has high blood pressure, with previous heart failure concerns. Has a lifetime of being out in the sun.

Consultation

Skin has no apparent adequate moisture values, also appears lipid dry. Multiple hyperkeratotic patches, pigmentation macules and erythema. Dynamic and static peri-orbital rhytids.

Medications

Alacare Dermal Patch (Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride) which his doctor put on two days ago on left temple. Clyde not sure how long it needs to be there for so has left it. Lasix (Furosemide) 40 mg

Social-psyco

Clyde lives by himself and is active and self-sufficient, who has frequent contact with both of his sons and their family who live close by.

Home care:

Try’s to remember to use sunscreen his doctors told him about when he goes out yet frequently forgets.

Daughter in law brought him some moisturiser (which you sell) however Clyde does not think he needs it so much. No other skin care used.
