Project Brief

A recent State-of-Emergency has been announced due to severe floods. The Premier has requested that Service NSW hyper-mobilise a Project team to assist deliver Government initiatives. The program is called ‘NSW Government Emergency Response Program’. The program will allow people impacted by the flood to access various vouchers and rebates through their MyService account or in-person at the Service Centre. 

There will be three (3) types of vouchers available to anyone impacted by the flood.

1. $10,000 Home Repairs Grants (HRG).
   Eligibility for the HRG has not been defined yet. 

2. $20,000 Business Restart Grant (BRG)
   Business Restart Grant is available to businesses who has lost turnover of over 80%

3. $3,000 Individual Restart Grant
   Allocated to anyone who has lost employment because of the flood.

You will need to define two additional business rules per grant.

Service NSW can assist customers in these areas through their Service Delivery network. Mobile Service Centre’s have been dispatched to the locations to provide immediate support, in addition staff have been asked through an expression of interest to deploy to the area and assist customers gain access to the grants. 

Grants need to be rolled out to citizens impacted by the flood within a week. The Government has asked you to call out risks associated with the delivery timeline and request if and what additional resources are required to meet the deadline.
