In this project, you are required to design and implement a Mawaqif parking permit inspector robot using an Arduino microcontroller and an RPi. The system includes a line follower sensor array, an Arduino microcontroller, an RPi, and an RPi camera. The robot should be designed to follow a line that covers a parking block using an Arduino. The Arduino controls the robot and communicates using I2C with an RPi. The RPi signals a stop to the Arduino mid-way at each parking spot, it then takes a picture of the vehicle’s license plate to check if Mawaqif fees have been paid using Computer Vision.
