Question 1
A link traverse started on a known trigonometrical station (T2), runs along a route to four traverse stations (A, B, C, D) and closes on another known trigonometrical station (T4). To provide angular check, an opening back bearing was established from T2 to T1 and a closing forward bearing from T3 to T4. Coordinates for all the known stations are given.

-Produce a large, labelled sketch of the traverse showing all the measured data.
-Calculate the angular misclosure and adjust the angles for closure.
-Calculate the bearings of all traverse legs.
-Calculate latitude and departure values for all traverse legs.
-Calculate linear misclosure and proportional accuracy for the traverse.
-Adjust the traverse for closure using the Bowditch method.
-Calculate coordinates for all traverse stations.
-Calculate the area enclosed by the stations T2-A-B-C-T2.
-A rectangular building is to be set out within the enclosed section mentioned at (h). Determine coordinate values for the building given the following information:
Building corner #1 (b1) is to be placed at a distance of 48.900 m from Station A with an angle of 25° 15’ 30” turned clockwise from Station A with Station B as reference object.
Building corner #2 (b2) is to be placed at a distance of 30.995 m from Station B with an angle of 75° 39’ 51” from Station B with Station C as reference object. The distance between b1 and b2 represents the length of the building and its width is 25.000 m.
