They are a divorced 57-year-old adult male. He is of South Asian descent with no history of medical conditions. However, they have come to see you as they are concerned about their health as they think it is getting worse.
They tell you that they were made redundant due to the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been trying to find other jobs, but so far without much success and this is making him very sad, with consistent low mood. As a result, he doesn’t have much money. He buys ready meals to eat and has no motivation to cook. He generally sits watching TV or YouTube all day. He does not go the gym…even when it was open! His basic medical assessments show;
