Instructions for the Student

You are required to attach a reference list at the end of your assessment following APA referencing system (copy available on Moodle under “Study Skills”).
Task Overview
• Each question should be approximately 150 words in length
• In order to successfully complete this assessment, you are required to obtain a copy and review the relevant service documents including the service philosophy, organizational structure, staff communication policy, staff roster, shift duties, policies, procedures, and a blank staff development plan.
• All responses should be typed and in your own words.

1. Obtain and review a copy of the service philosophy /vision statement/mission statement. Using this document together with discussions within your team, identify and explain how this is embedded in the day-to-day operations of the service.
