This assessment consists of two parts:

Based on client file reviews and discussions:

Assess client willingness to engage in support
Evaluate client understanding of issues and their effects
For each service, outline:

Provide evidence of consultation including:

This assessment is designed to evaluate the student’s ability to identify and respond to the multi-faceted and co-existing needs of individuals. It is divided into two parts:
Part 1 – Client File Reviews
Conduct a thorough case assessment of two individuals with co-existing needs.
Identify at least two needs per client and explain their interrelationships.
Assess the impact of these needs, prioritise urgent issues, and recognise client strengths.
Recommend strategies, appropriate services, and referrals using a strength-based approach.

Part 2 – Reflection with Peer/Assessor
Discuss analysis, referrals, and identified needs with a peer or assessor.
