Crique a picture book using a social justice lens then choose a book with an anti-bias purpose and create an inviation to play based on the book 

Book critique - this part is orientation to the rest of the task

a. Bring your book to the live session with your lecturer (or follow your lecturer's instructions for alternatíve approach). You will need to think of a way to share your book with others in the live online. session.

b. Join in a group process to critique the books you have all brought ie to analyse the books for affirmation of bias, or challenge to bias.

c. Identify the key issues of your books as a group. Draft a short group statement outlining the issues to share with the rest of the group.

d. Identify concepts and ideas from the unit that are relevant to the identified issues.

Individual Written Analysis

a. After the group discussion, each individual selects one of the books on the class list to write up a critique that looks at how that book affirms or challenges bias.

b. Each person in the class must choose a different book from the shared list.

c. You can draw on the conversation you had with the group for this.

d. Write this up in about words and submit to the Drop Box by Saturday of Week 3.

e. Use references from the unit reference appropriately.
