Report Writing Assignment:

Task: Assignment 1: Observation Plan The purpose of this assignment is to help you to set up a coherent and well-researched plan for your observation project. Please ensure that you submit this with enough time to receive and act on feedback from your marker. This feedback will inform the quality and accuracy of your final assessment. Please review the marking rubric to see marks allocations/weightings for the various elements of the assignment. Your observation plan is a tool that will help you to prepare for your final report. It requires you to complete parts 1 and 2 of the project (above) and write a plan that follows the structure below. Please follow this structure and instructions exactly. Assignment 2: Child Observation Report NOTE: While you will not be assessed on parts 2, 3 and 4 (as they were assessed in the previous assignment), you MUST include them in assignment 2, the final report, in order to have your assignment marked in its entirety. As the marking key demonstrates, marks are awarded for ‘good fit’ between observation questions, methods and observation records, and analysis/assessment cannot be marked without access to the questions and methods. Your marker will not have access to your previous assignment. You can and should alter sections 2, 3 and 4 based on feedback from assignment one if it will improve the quality of your observations, interpretations and/or final report.
