The post tensioned beam shown in Figure 1 has a width of 1800 mm while its depth is 1400 mm. Slab thickness is 210 mm while span, L = 7.5 m. Concrete
strength f' is 55 MPa.
You are required to design the most economical and functional structural members. Your assignment should include the necessary design calculations, sketches, and comments where necessary.  It should include the following:

Part (i) Calculations of applied bending moments and shear forces for the columns strips and middle strips of the slabs as well as the beam

Part (ii)
Design for service and strength limit states (including flexure and shear).

Part (iii)
Design of anchorage zone, bearing and bond for the slab bays and the beam.

Part (iv)
Estimation of losses (including short term and long term as appropriate)

Part (v)
Calculation of deflection (both short term and long term).
