Examine and reflect on one (1) of the early case studies from workshops and present an in-depth narrated case review exploring the case study including:

• Past history
• Sociocultural and personal history
• Current health assessment and health issues
• Person centred goals of care
• Evidence based clinical interventions to meet the goals and evaluation criteria that reflects holistic health consideration

Case study Chest Pain and Acute Coronary Syndrome

• Jackson Lee, 40-year-old male (DOB 17/04/1983) presented to ED complaining of chest pain radiating to his left arm.
• He is a plasterer and was working onsite when the pain began.
• He has a history of hypertension, on medication. Nil previous heart attacks or chest pain. Stopped taking his medications 3 months ago as they were expensive and making him feel unwell. Smokes socially, but up until 3 years ago was smoking 30 cigarettes per day. Drinks on the weekend and socially approx. 10 standard drinks per week.
• Although he works physically, does not exercise regularly, and gets short of breath climbing 3 flights of steps. As he moves around on the job, he grabs whatever food is nearby.
• He is very worried as his dad died at 45 from a heart attack.
• On presentation to ED Jackson continues to have chest pain, his is diaphoretic, cool peripheries.
• The review will be presented using ISBAR framework. This is to assist you to structure your indept review of the cast study. Your case review will include evidence to support your thoughts and rational in relation to the patients situation, backgroup, assessments, and recommendations for care.
