Clinical leadership is very important in entire nursing career. However, I believe that clinical leadership should not be an immediate priority for graduate RNs. (Stanly,2017), defines clinical leadership as a clinicians who are expert in their field, and who are effective communicators, good mentors, are able to act as a role model, critical thinker and deliver best care to their practice. Salem & Ghazi (2020) believes that new graduate phase is still a learning phase and graduate nurses usually experience stressful and overwhelming during their initial stage of practicing and adjust themselves while delivering care to the patients.  Therefore, I believe that graduate RNs need guidance and support from other clinical leaders to build up confidence as they just passed their student phase. In addition, they need some time to reflect their weakness and strengths and give chances to allow them to discover themselves as a clinical leader. After all, newly graduate RNs are considered as the future of healthcare settings where they can bring changes in workforce.
