Task Overview

1. Based on unit: Environmental Change and Management Investigation of a coastal environment outside of Australia looking at the causes and consequences of environmental change as well as the management of the environmental change.

Complete each of the following tasks based on your chosen coastal environment. Present as one document (report style with headings). Use the word limit as a guide.

i) Identify the coastal environment. Insert a map to show the location of the coastal environment. Outline the location of the coastal environment. (30 - 50 words) 4 marks

ii) Compile a fact sheet that outlines the natural features of this environment (may include lithosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere features) Include 2 annotated* images of some of these natural features. annotate: add notes to a text or diagram by giving an explanation or comment.

iii) On an additional 3 rd image using arrows, textboxes and annotations, show how the biophysical environment functions and how the 4 spheres are linked. 

iv) Describe the human-induced changes to the environment Support the description with 4 relevant and labeled images. 

v) Outline and assess one management strategy that is being used to protect or manage this environment. Consider the challenges in trying to manage the change
