DIGITAL COLOUR FORECAST BOARD OBJECTIVE: 

Create a board that depicts a seasons forecast of a colour palette for a retailer & their consumer. Elements such as research of the consumers profile, fashion trends, basic colour knowledge & active discussions will aid in the formulation of a the board .Images are derived from tear sheets ,along with a seasonal colour palette created from Color-Aids cards . 

1.Identifying consumer and theme 

a) Choose a target customer / retailer& season: spring summer /fall winter. 

b) Create a short consumer profile including demographics, social & lifestyle issues. Highlight key elements that are reflective of their lifestyle such as feminism, careers ,social media, music focus( hip hop) sustainability, family. Ask yourself how do these elements impact their fashion looks/ choices. 

c) From this determine a fashion direction/collection. Example,” young student” attends school, loves hip hop music, & their free time is spent socializing with close friends. 

d) Then you could create a theme supporting this direction i.e. “street wear” -looks are casual based on active wear with bright colours a lot of layers . 

e) Look for an inspirational image that reflects this theme. This will drive the colour palette & creative focus of the board. You will be required to explain your theme & how it connects to the consumer colour palette & fashion direction in the PowerPoint presentation
