• This is not a summary (you already did that in your summary assignment!). The Academic Argument Assignment is an analysis of your chosen article’s use of rhetorical appeals (see Lecture 6, slide 20 for information on the difference between summary and analysis).
• Do not use any secondary research for this assignment. The only text that you are working with is either Kareem Abdul-Jabar’s or Pascale Diverlus’s.
• Follow APA formatting guidelines.
• Organize your ideas in advance, and proofread carefully for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
