5. REFLECTION: Is there room for participatory culture within the culture fostered by the culture industry? Refer to the notion of participatory culture discussed by the Jenkins’ reading “Participatory culture: from co-creating brand meaning to changing the world” discussed in Lecture 1. What does the notion of a nano-influencer tell us about the ideal, documentary, and social aspects of our current culture discussed by Williams last week? Provide examples of each.
