Objective 
Create a proposal about a hypothetical business project of your choice. Your proposal should include the following sections/headings 
•Introduction (does not need a heading) 
•Problem or Opportunity – Establish the need for your proposal 
•Background (why you are qualified and how the reader will benefit)
•Research Objectives/Topics of Investigation –Explain what specific information you will gather for your research project (objective)
•Methods or Procedure – Explain how you will reach your end result. Use graphs/charts to support your arguments. 
•Work Schedule (timeframe from start to finish)

Writing the Proposal

The proposal will do the following: 
•Explain your project - What problem or opportunity are you exploring, and what will the final product be? Why is this important? 
•Identify what specific information your proposed project will collect (does research need to be done?) 
•Explain how you will complete the project - Why is this method the best approach?
•Prove that you have the resources, ability, and time to complete the project – Show that you can do it in the time you have (one year).  Why are you the best choice for this proposal?
•Give a schedule that shows how your project will be completed -  This can be a task schedule, calendar, etc. but should detail the tasks?involved in your project.
•The proposal should be approx. 800-1200 words. (higher word count for larger groups)
•References are required and should be in the formal APA format.
