You will choose a contemporary issue in the media and compare and contrast two communication responses from different organisations, in order to provide recommendations for better practice. Your critical response will be approximately 1500 words in length (plus or minus 10%) and will reference at least seven sources (including the required readings for the course, if you wish). Question - Your response should briefly introduce the issue and organisations/groups, and analyse: • What challenges and/or opportunities did each organisation face in developing a communication response? • What strategies and tactics did each organisation employ? Were these effective? Why, or why not? (Refer to specific examples and attach these to your paper – they are not included in your word count.) • Would you recommend any changes to the approaches taken? Why, or why not?
