Instructions In this assessment you will conduct and report a risk assessment of bleach, used during cleaning.
Follow these steps:
1. Undertake research to identify the potential for bleach to cause harm to the user during cleaning (i.e. the hazards of bleach).
2. Obtain the risk assessment form from the Blackboard > Assessment folder, and review the instructions for use.
3. Observe a person using bleach to clean. Take several photographs of the task being assessed, to use in your report. The intention of the photos is to demonstrate the task - this does not mean you need to take a photo of each step.
4. Complete the risk assessment form. 8 OHS6205 Health, Safety and Workplace Environment Semester
5. Evaluate the potential for harm, and suggest controls to prevent exposure to the chemical, which will reduce the risk of injury to an acceptable level.
6. Develop a report, for the Senior Manager, which describes the task, includes the risk assessment, the suggested controls and the implementation of the controls.
