Assignment Tasks 

The following are the task to be completed: 

1) Task 1  

Submit a work proposal for this assignment or before 31/10/2020 (23:59) which must include:  ? Understanding of deliverables – a detail description of deliverables.  

• General overview of proposed plan - initial understanding of solution to task2. 
• Timeline for completion of the given tasks. 

The work proposal must be submitted in a word file through the link available in Moodle. 

2) Task 2  

Read the Case Scenario given in this Assignment and answer the following questions based on the  business objectives/requirements: Assume that you are the Project Manager working with AL MAHA. As  a first step, you have to search t for the Top vendor/provider of ERP and communicate with them. Then,  you must provide the a proposed Project Plan of the most suitable ERP vendor/provider and ERP software  package for AL MAHA Furnitures that is available now in the market; The proposed Project Plan must  contain the following information:  

PROJECT PLAN: 

A. ERP Details 

• Name of ERP Vendor/Provider and Short description/background about the vendor.
• Name of the ERP Software (Including the Version, in case there is any). 
• Modules and Functionalities (e.g., Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources,  production, etc.) to be included/available in the ERP software package based on the  business benefits/requirements of the scenario. 
• Package Price. Support such as trainings for the end user/technical support should be  included in the package price as well. 
• Recommended Hardware/Software/Other Resources specifications needed by AL MAHA furniture LLC. for the ERP implementation. 

B. Proposed Timeline/WBS of the ERP Implementation for each module 

Note: Deliverables/Tasks must be specific and According to the schedule specified in the  Scenario. Minimum of 3 tables are expected. Below is a sample Timeline/WBS table.

C. Provide a detailed justification with the analysis in selecting the ERP System and  Vendor.  

Note: 300 words is expected to justify your answer.

Search for at least two (2) Free and Open Sourced (FOSS) or Cloud – Based ERP system available now  in the market. Based on your research you must design a Poster to showcase (or Advertise) those 2  ERP system you selected. The following details are expected in the content of poster: 

Note: 500 words is expected in the poster. If you select FOSS ERP, the 2 ERP system must be FOSS.  Otherwise, the 2 ERP system must be a cloud-based. You cannot select 1 FOSS and 1 Cloud-based ERP. 

 Title of the Poster, Introduction, objectives 

•  Comparison between the two (2) ERP system in terms of features and Functionalities, business  benefits, and price 
•  Screenshots/Photos of Sample Transactions using the 2 ERP System 
•  General Reflection about the 2 ERP system you have selected 

Rules & Regulations: 

•  All resources should be cited using CU Harvard style. 
•  The final assignment must have a Title page, Introduction, Table of Contents, References/  bibliography using CU Harvard Style and page numbers. 
•  Title Page must have Assignment Name, Module name, Session, your name, ID, and the name of  the faculty.  
•  Softcopy in word format is to be submitted through Turnitin link on Moodle. 
•  Viva will be conducted after the assignment submission as per the dates informed earlier.
