Task:  Greenwich Butchers is a shop located within the centre of Greenwich specialising in selling produce supplied by farmers in Kent. They sell a variety of different types of meats and condiments. As well as selling products within the shop the company also arranges special large bulk deliveries for clients.  These clients are usually caterers and restaurants. Once a bulk order request comes in the manager will contact suppliers to find the best price/timeframe offered.  They have use of a warehouse near Greenwich where they store most of their stock as the shop only has limited space. Currently all customer enquiries, bulk order and delivery details and stock details are filed manually and the company feels that due to a number of reasons it would like to keep all these records electronically.  They feel that they would like to also be able to query the stock details to help them track and monitor current stock levels. They would also like to have a web site where people can view their products, make general product enquiries and request a bulk order quote on line.  Eventually, they would like to sell their products online and so therefore they have asked you to assist them with this by letting them know of issues that they need to think about before setting up an e-commerce site. The company employs two part-time and two full-time members of staff who work in the shop on a rota and they have an office above the shop.  Currently, the office has 2 PC’s, however, they are not networked. The shop does not do much business during the week however the weekends are generally very busy due to the popularity of Greenwich at the weekends. Additionally, they would like information about setting up a local network and ISP providers, e-commerce business issues and also accessibility and design issues for the web site.  For the purpose of this project you will undertake research in one of these areas and give recommendations to them based on your research within the report. Information gathered at the initial client meeting On 10th May 2018 you had an initial meeting with the Managing Director and your hand written notes from this meeting are below.  You should use these notes as a basis for your requirements analysis. PROJECT TASKS You are required to undertake some research and implement a system for The Greenwich Butchers. You need to undertake two research tasks and one product implementation for the WBLP2.   RESEARCH You are required to undertake 2 main research topics and report your findings back within the final report. Undertake some research into: Research topic one: Research into the software tools (for example available programming languages and databases) available for the product that you are choosing to implement. You should compare and contrast the available tools and justify why you have chosen the specific tools for the project.  (At least 500 words) Research topic two:  choose one of: 1) Some recommendations for the business when proposing to create an online e-commerce business. Specifically, what kind of business issues will The Greenwich Butchers have to be aware of if they decide to start selling their products on line? (At least 1000 words) Or 2) Some recommendations for the business when proposing to set up a LAN within their offices. Specifically, what are the options available to them and what would be the most suitable way of implementing the LAN? What h/w and s/w will they need? What is the approximate cost of this?  (At least 1000 words) Or 3) Some recommendations for accessibility, and design considerations for the e-commerce site including technical, legal (such as GDPR 2018) and ethical issues. PRODUCT IMPLEMENTATION You are required to undertake the analysis and design and implement only one of the following systems for The Greenwich Butchers Option 1: Product option one is to produce a stand-alone system holding details of the stock, suppliers, bulk orders and customers. You can choose the programming and database technology to use but make sure that you include the chosen one in your software tools research topic and justify why you have chosen it. You should undertake a requirements analysis and develop either an entity relationship diagram or a Class diagram. Then create a stand-alone database containing the data and relationships for the system. The system should:

• Information about the stock: including the categories, description and current stock levels.
• Information about the customer: including whether they are a bulk order customer or a shop customer, details of any purchases and their contact details.
• Details about the suppliers: including their contact details and the type of produce they grow.
• Details about the bulk order request: including which customer requested it, which suppliers were sent the request and the status of the bulk order.

The database should have well-designed data entry forms. The database should also be able run the following queries to find:

• The current stock level for a specific product
• The most popular product sold over the past year
• Suppliers who have not yet responded to a bulk order request
• A bulk order with status complete and the bulk order customer details
• Display the bulk orders dealt with by a particular staff member

Option 2: Product option 2 is to produce a web-enabled database containing details of the customers, stock and bulk order requests. You can choose the server-side, client-side and database technology to use but make sure that you include the chosen one in your software tools research topic and justify why you have chosen it. You should undertake a requirements analysis and develop either an entity relationship diagram or a Class Diagram.  Then create a database containing details of the stock, suppliers, bulk orders and customers in the database of your choice. The web site should be able to:

• Display the available products
• Have different security levels: one level for customer and one for administrator
• The customer should be able to create a login and add their details. These details should be saved to the database.
• Allow customers to login to the system and create a new bulk order request
• The bulk order request details should be saved to the database
• The administrator should be able to add/amend/delete:
