Assignment Task
Analytical comparison of rooftop rainwater harvesting across variables based on quality quantity cost distribution, and new age sensor technology on an organizational level in context with the rainfall in Jaipur in 2022. ( Considering JK Lakshmipat University as the epicenter subject for research project)
Stepwise distribution shall be as follows
- Measurement of total land area along with the total roof surface area in the 30 acre premises.
- Calculation of the total area covered by roof along with the calculation of area of slant roof required.
- Cost comparison across all variables and options available in the current market.
- Calculation of total rainfall obtained on the rooftop, both straight and slant roof.
- Quality assessment of water based on the ease of cleanliness of the rainwater harvesting system across buildings.
- Identifying various sensors to reduce loss of water while collection and storage.
- Cost of yearly maintenance of both the systems and a 10 year cost projection of the system maintenance.
- Designing a water filtration and storage system about the data collected based on calculation.
- Detailed study of the efficiency of one system across the other with pictorial representation and calculation.
