The final sprint has four deliverables: 

• A sprint document incorporating the various artefacts pertaining to that sprint (details below). The document should be a PDF file and should contain appropriate title page (which includes the names and student numbers of the team members), page and section numbering, figure and table numbering where relevant, and a correctly formatted contents table. 

• A single video file that screen-captures a demonstration of the end-of-sprint increment. The video must be a maximum of 10 minutes duration and include an audio commentary of the demonstration. 

• Full source code for the increment completed following the third sprint 

• A software guide which explains how to configure, build and run your software in an MS windows environment. See further notes below. 

The third sprint document should comprise the following sections: 

i. A written retrospective of the second sprint. The retrospective should summarise the positive and negative aspects of the second sprint with respect to what was (and what was not) achieved when measured against the sprint plan and the associated sprint backlog. The idea is that this retrospective will have informed the planning of the third sprint. If there have been revisions to the product and sprint backlogs as a result of the retrospective, then these should be clearly highlighted. 

ii. A statement of the third sprint goal. 

iii. An updated product backlog, and a sprint backlog representing all the features that have been pulled from the product backlog for the third sprint (i.e., ‘sprint items’). For each sprint backlog item, the section should indicate a mapping to the development tasks that need to be performed to complete the item. Each task should map to an individual member of the team responsible for completion of that task, and an appropriate story point estimate. 

The software guide requirements 

As we cannot meet in person for the final demonstration and team discussion, I will endeavour to run the mini projects myself. I will require clear instructions on how to access any relevant software, how to configure and build the software, and how to run the software. That is to say: 

• The software required, version, and appropriate URL where I can access and download the software. 

• Configuration instructions, where appropriate. 

• Build instructions 

• Runtime instructions 

And remember (this is very important), I will be using a Windows 10 environment (i.e., the default Middlesex University set up). If you have been developing in another environment, such as Mac, then include a task to your final sprint backlog to port the software to a correct Windows environment and revise the backlog accordingly. Your software guide should explain how to install, configure, build and run in a Windows 10 environment.
