You will use the file-carving tools provided with the open-source forensics suite Autopsy (sleuthkit.org) to interrogate a disk image. You will open a prebuilt case file and probe the information extracted to identify a data exfiltration.

Task-1: Set up the LAB                                
•In your organisation some of the installation and configuration issues you might face in deploying a typical security appliance to screen a local network from the Internet. We will be using pfSense, an open- source unified threat management (UTM) appliance created and maintained by Netgate (pfsense.org)
•Start the VMs given in virtual environment in following order, adjusting the memory allocation first if necessary, and waiting at the ellipsis for the previous VMs to finish booting before starting the next group. You do not need to connect to a VM until prompted to do so in the activity steps.
