• In your paper:

  • Identify evidence-based MNT utilized for disease management, and the pathway in which the intervention is known or hypothesized to address the disease or disorder
  • State the indications for use of the MNT intervention
  • List any contraindications for the MNT intervention
  • Include different recommendations for different age groups where applicable
  • Describe how to monitor and evaluate the efficacy and safety of the intervention
  • Include how you would approach providing MNT for an individual/family.
• Provide a reference list in ICMJE Format with a minimum of 10 current primary sources (peer- reviewed research articles, not review articles).
• Your paper/topic will be presented to the class in a 10-15 minute oral presentation using PowerPoint (this time should include time for questions).
• The paper and presentation will be evaluated on the integration of knowledge, organization, and development of ideas as well as articulation.
