Imagine the scenario that a group of student were asked to design a paper helicopter to achieve the longest flight time for a given drop height. They had decided to investigate the following 7 factors, shown in Figure 1, which could affect the flight time. Taguchi L8 matrix was used to design the experiments as shown in Figure 2. The flight time have been recorded in Figure 3. Your task is to carry out the data analysis using Minitab or manual calculation to find out the optimum design and predict the flight time for the optimized design.
