Through your study of the graphic novel,  Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, and other contemporary media texts, you have also  explored how governments and laws play a key role in controlling these freedoms.  

Task 

Construct, script and record a vlog for a specific audience of your choice that responds  to a contentious social issue related to a Fundamental Freedom from one of the four  espoused by Roosevelt. 

 Select, research and develop your thesis on an issue related to freedom that has  appeared in media texts in the last year, and construct a persuasive argument that adds  to the public dialogue or ‘conversation’ about how the media have treated this issue.  

Vlogs provide a public platform for individuals across the world to express opinions and  persuade audiences, often in powerful ways. Use your vlog to, invite listeners to  reconsider their own position on the issue, persuade them to accept your perspective,  and if applicable, influence them to take action.
