Geographical Information Systems:

1) Create a map for an area of your interest by downloading vector data (i.e. point, line & polygon) and spot heights from the Internet (Web). 2) This question is designed to test your ability to use Vector Proximity, Overlay, Clipping and Query GIS techniques. 3) Designed to test your understanding of the conversion of vector data to raster data. 4) Identify the key issues to be considered when sourcing GIS data from the Internet (Web). Identify a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of seven (7) issues and describe how you would address each of them. 5) This is a planning question and is designed to test your ability to put your GIS knowledge together to solve a typical GIS problem.
