  • Apply elements to estimation, planning and supervisory tasks

Scenario 1
You have previously prepared sketches and drawings for a double garage and workshop for clients David and Tara King. The couple has had the site plans prepared for the construction of their new home and double garage. They have organized an on-site meeting with you to discuss their future plans to build their first home, including a variation to the proposed double garage.

Scenario 2
The clients, David, and Tara King are satisfied that the double garage with the workshop will allow on-site storage of most construction materials while they build their new
home. The rainwater tank will suffice and cater for all new vegetation they have planted at the rear of the property.
The Kings would now like you to prepare a sketch plan of the proposed single-story residence as shown in Appendix A. You can choose to re-draw the new site plan from scratch, make a scanned copy or reuse your original site-plan sketch to include the King’s residential footprint.

Scenario 3
Sullivan Constructions have been contacted by new clients, David and Tara King, who are aiming to build a double garage on the property they have recently purchased. David and Tara are planning to build a house on the property in the future. For now, they require a double garage for storage or possibly as temporary accommodation while the house is under construction. The double garage will also include a workshop in the total area, 6m x 10m.
You have arranged to meet David and Tara on-site next week to prepare sketches and drawings of the proposed double garage.
