For this assessment you will be required to demonstrate your ability to:
1. Apply structural principles when planning the erection or demolition of a structure
2. Analyse and plan for the structural integrity of Class 2 to 9 buildings
3. Plan, coordinate and manage the laying of footing systems
4. Plan, coordinate and manage the laying of floor system
5. Plan, coordinate and manage the building of structural wall systems and wall cladding systems
6. Plan, coordinate and manage the building of structural roof systems and roof cladding systems
 
Your assessor will provide you feedback upon completion of this project.
You must complete all of the following activities on the job site and compile evidence of your activities in the space provided or in your own workplace documentation.

Project:
This project is to be completed based on the construction of a Commercial Low Rise Building. You are required to submit copies of the site plans and other relevant documentation as evidence for this project.

This project has 5 parts:
1. Structural Integrity
2. Planning and Specialist Advice
3. Laying of Footings and Floor Systems
4. The building of walls and roof systems
5. External wall cladding

Project 2
1. Identify the main structural principles that apply to the construction of this commercial low rise structure:
