Description

The second piece of continuous assessment for this course develops your ability to structure your Policy Analysis (Age Pension) ahead of writing it. It provides you with the opportunity to outline your research and plan for the policy analysis paper and for the teaching to provide feedback prior to commencing the policy analysis paper. The word limit for this assessment is words. Points must be written in full sentences. In the plan you need to provide the following using the highlighted headings: History (300 words) - Key historical points/events in the policy's history, highlighting major issues and issue drivers, including three relevant scholarly sources.

Outline the 3-4 key issues/issue drivers that your policy paper will analyze using at least three relevant scholarly sources

Evaluation and review 

Outline the key findings from evaluations and reviews of the policy using at least three scholarly sources For this assessment, look beyond traditional scholarly works (such as journals) and include sources from government departments parliamentary library and peak bodies (commonly referred to as "Grey literature")
