To express my interest in the Finance Executive role posted by Crewstone International Sdn Bhd, I am sending this letter. The first reason I want to apply for this position is because of its substantial financial industry leadership. Your company is the 5th largest bank in Malaysia by total assets as of December 2019. A few financial metrics will show its leadership. The company has substantially strengthened the capitalization through a capital raise, and its common equity ratio was increased by 2.7% at the end of 2019. I would like to join such an inspiring firm as a starting point of my long-term career pursuit.

For two reasons, I believe I am a good fit for this job. Firstly, I have strong commercial awareness and outstanding negotiation skills. As the publicity team leader in Martial Art Club (MAC) at Xiamen University Malaysia, I have co-operated with 10 universities in Selangor to throw the largest camping in Malaysia. To secure sponsorship of RM 5,000, I led the team to approach and negotiate with many merchants (Huawei Technologies, local restaurants).

Secondly, I have great team-working and strong analytical skills. I work in a team during my internship at Deutsche Corporate Bank (the third largest investment bank in mainland China) to help my colleagues carry out an IPO project that received positive feedback from our clients. I analyzed the data during my internship at OCBC Bank (credit risk team) in Malaysia using modeling to measure losing values for multiple counterparties under various variations of possibilities. Through my interns, my teamwork and analytical skills were well enhanced, which I hope will allow me to work in the collaborative and competent atmosphere at Crewstone International Sdn Bhd.
