• Provide a summary of the case study.
• Identify the key IHRM issues/challenges AND IHRM concepts/theories in the case study.
• Draw from the literature & critically analyze the IHRM issues/challenges. Provide recommendations.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this assignment is to:

Demonstrate the ability to apply IHRM concepts to real-life contexts (depicted in the case study), and work with other team members in delivering a professional class presentation

The unit learning outcomes assessed are: 

• Identify and propose solutions to the key issues in managing human resources in the global context, including the impact of cultural differences; 
• Critically review the theories which guide the policies and practices of International HRM; and 
• Demonstrate team-based communication skills, interpersonal skills and intercultural understanding to deliver intended group outcomes. 

Instructions

• All students need to attend and present on the allocated date/time.
• A copy of the presentation slides must be provided to the facilitator in session 9.
• A computer is available for workshop presentations. If students wish to use other multimedia technology, they must consult with the facilitator well in advance and take charge of the equipment request process.
