The Car Lock system has a keypad as shown the picture below. The car has a timer that locks the doors after 30 second of pressing the unlock button.
Step1: Identify the Application FURs [Functional user Requirements]
FUR 1 – on receipt of the Lock signal
The software:
sends a ‘Turn ON’ signal to the Door Locks
System locks the car.
FUR 2 – on receipt of the Unlock signal
The software:
sends a ‘Turn OFF’ signal to the Door Locks
System unlocks the car.
FUR 3– on receipt of a 30-second signal
After 30 seconds from when Unlock button is pressed, the software:
receives the 30-second signal.
gets the Actual Doors Mode from the system.
sends a Turn ON signal to the Locks if doors are unlocked.
